The Heritage at Milford Family Farm

My name is Mallory Milford fourth generation cattle farmer. My family and I relocated from the Cumming/ North Forsyth, GA area to Talking Rock/East Ellijay. After living in Cumming for 4 generations and 200 years we sadly were pushed out of Cumming due to overgrowth. We are huge advocates for Agriculture and growing small businesses. We stumbled upon Gilmer County and we fell in love with the community and the atmosphere. The Milford’s come from a small family who were very involved in each other’s everyday lives. Brantley Milford is an only child and the husband of Allison Milford. Together they had 2 children who as of now work on the farm alongside running their own businesses. We love to give back to the community just as our own Jessie Lee and Hulet Milford did. They had hearts of gold always welcoming folks to come and take a load off on their front porch.

Since moving from our home, we fell in love with Ellijay, the people and the community. We are now up and running our farm and wedding/event space off Yukon since August 2021. My family has become very involved in the community. We are a part of the Chamber of Commerce, my mother is a CASA volunteer and I am working on becoming a member as we as joining Gilmer Counties Junior League. We love helping our community doing free photo sessions, and giving back to the community where we can. We are having a grand relocation opening in August and would love to see the community come out and show us support as well as to be able to show everyone our beautiful business.
